Just another AMAZING testimony from Teresa Hardesty...."Here is our personal testimony with Monavie: At the time we started drinking the juice 4 1/2 years ago we had two little ones. I read a great article from Success Magazine regarding 10 Things Aspiring Entrepreneurs Should Do, by Paul Zane Pilzer. I have converted the 10 points to reflect what a MonaVie distributor should do...

Number of calls to get a First Look CD out, number of First Look CDs listened to by prospects, number of prospects that take a look at the comp plan, number of lookers who join your team.
6. Stay Wide Open in Your Thinking- Always continue to learn and grow. Remember, you have to unlearn as well as learn. Also, few people like change, but everyone likes improvement. Improvement is Change...
7. Hone Your Entrepreneurial Instincts to Make the World Better- By helping others with health issues or money issues you are making the world a better place. Make no mistake about it.
8. Deal with Slaps- You will always have resistance. It is the nature of this world. Health is resisted by illness, freedom by tyranny and good by evil. It's just part of the puzzle.
9. Exhaust Your Existing Skills- You already have what it take to be successful in MonaVie. Just plug in to the MVP system and follow the proven and predictable pattern of success.

4 Simple Skills and the Process of Character Development—A Message from Randy Schroeder
Good morning, world, from Warsaw, Poland!
As I prepare for the IMAGINE Convention and while reflecting upon the recently completed and highly successful Acceler8 Convention in Anaheim, I have a series of recurring thoughts. Central in my mind is the wish to impress upon all and remind myself of the realities of our business (at least as I see them).
Here is a synopsis of my basic beliefs:
1. The fundamental principles that govern network marketing are superior to those that govern conventional business. The reasons are myriad. I here select one of many reasons for this belief: Our every success is born of someone else’s success. In most business methods, “win-win” is a dream unrealized. BMW sales people make their earnings at the expense of Mercedes salespeople. One attorney’s court victory is a direct result of the failure of another’s. The realtor who gets the listing “won;” the others who attempted lost. On and on I could go with this simple thought. Our every success is born of another’s success!
2. The industry has more than one good company. All of the frothy messages about this company or that company being the “best” are a bit nuts. The company of my affiliation (where I will end my career) is MonaVie. MonaVie is one of a handful of outstanding network marketing companies. It is the individual member with proper implementation of proven processes, applied over time that creates personal successes within the organization.
3. There are four simple skills that can be developed by most anyone with average intelligence, which once developed and applied over time allow the member to “get the key in the lock.” The skills are:
A. The creation and maintenance of a candidate list. It is an activity to write down a list of names. It is a combination of life skills that make possible our positive interactions with a variety of personality types such that our candidate list continually grows in front of us.
B. Master the Art of the Invitation! Having developed a solid inviting skill, we can be assured that our candidates will see the opportunity, as opposed to seeing the one offering the opportunity. When this skill is well represented through multiple leadership tiers in an organization, success is at hand!
C. Learn to implement an imminently duplicable business presentation method. PRESS PLAY!
D. Develop an institutionalized method of follow up and New Member Orientations. For us in MonaVie, the skill development process occurs as a result of participating in the MVP community. Once one has developed the above four referenced skills, one must turn to the more difficult process of character development.
Our industry has an ability to put a spotlight on every character flaw:
Am I selfish?
Am I self-centered?
Am I greedy?
Am I arrogant?
Am I dishonest?
Am I disloyal?
Am I plagued by lust?
Am I lazy?
Am I prideful?
Am I driven by ego and vain glory?
Add to the list...
Without a specific effort to eradicate the above flaws when they come to light, we will find ourselves on a collision course with others and will be unable to build and maintain relationships of trust and mutual care. The skills required are relatively easy to develop. “The skill to do comes from the doing.” —Cicero The process of character development is lifelong, and there is no final destination. What is the bottom line to all of this? It is my recognition that if my business is not growing, I am the problem. So long as I am affiliated with one of that handful of proven, solid entities in the industry, the key to my further success lies in my own further development, rather than in some new process or product (or in chasing a new company). Permanent income requires permanent commitment. If you are a MonaVie distributor, do not look left and do not look right. Look straight ahead into the looking glass. Improve what there appears. Then, look inside to your interior. Join me in the knowledge that once the interior battle is won all else is VERY easy.

I have seen and heard many success formulas over the years. I consider this one very simple and accurate.
1. A Dream That Matters To You: A meaningful dream that you believe you can accomplish.
2. An Attitude of Success: Reading, growing and learning plus an urgency to succeed.
3. A Vehicle That Will Allow You to Have Your Dream: If your dream and your job don't match, you won't achieve your dream.
4. A Work Ethic: A consistent striving for the dream and urgent goal wins at the end of the day.
Many people have the Dream... Have the attitude to grow and learn... but fail because of the wrong vehicle, poor work habits or no urgency.

Warning!

WARNING: Emotional eating is a poor eating habit and its a total distraction from dealing with the real problem. Emotional eating with friends or family is just emotional friends and family eating a lot of food under the disguise of comforting one another. A better solution is to go for walks during these emotional times, talking through the problem and then after, maybe enjoying a healthy meal together. Food is wonderful for nourishing the body and enjoying friends and family . . . however, food is a poor counselor. :-) Jill Carlisle

Brief Decision, Forever Results
I've been listening to MonaVie's RVL webcasts hosted by Mark MacDonald. After last Monday's RVL webinar I now feel that I have my head wrapped around RVL and blood sugar stabilization. You will want to log into your virtual office, VO Tools, document library, scroll down and listen to the April 9th and April 16th RVL webinars. I understand you don't have the time . . . and yet if you are on your RVLution weight loss journey or you are considering it then you really want to to listen to MonaVie's Mark MacDonald to help maximize your results. All the information and support and training you need is at your finger tips . . . for free . . . in your MonaVie website.
In a nutshell: a different approach to RVL. In the process of stabilizing your blood sugar and keeping it stable, your body will respond with natural weight loss. To do this a different approach to RVL is well worth considering. Instead of replacing your meals with RVL shakes, use the RVL shakes for your snack times in the morning and afternoon. Then eat 3 other small meals of a carb, a fat and a protein. Make sure you don't skip your RVL fat burning supplements. By using RVL with this approach, you are eating food (learning good food choices) and your snack time is stabilizing your blood sugar w the RVL shake. Or maybe you want to hang onto your excuses of not exercising, eating right, etc, then you should consider shutting those back doors and getting a partner or group. Know what it takes for you to make your commit to your RVLution journey and make those changes. The decision is brief . . . the results are forever.

The Ant and the Ox

I love this quote by Lao Tzu. The ox dozing in the sun represents our best intentions. But if you look closely by the hoof of the dozing ox, you'll spot the tiny ant walking by, carefully carrying its load for the day. That tiny bit the ant carries every day is the little piece we can take action on, however small.
When we're working in our business, we allow the pace and daily demands to distract us from ever working on our business. Working "on" the business is focusing on the part that grows the business, the part that will fill the funnel with new opportunities.
For most of us, the "work on my business" part of the brain is the ox, dozing in the warmth of the certainty that "one day when I'm well-rested, I'll spring up and do the heavy work."
Well, send flowers: That ox isn't dozing. He's dead.
All we really have at our disposal is the dedication of the ant. That fantasy month where our calendar gives us wide open space? It ain't coming.
However, every day, if we do one small thing that represents a genuine effort to work on the business, rather than responding within the business, we'll eventually accomplish a tremendous amount towards growing our influence, business, and income.
